Hospital Library Advocacy Ad Hoc Committee

The Hospital Library Advocacy Ad Hoc Committee identifies specific opportunities and initiatives which OHSLA may engage in to advocate for hospital libraries, or promote medical librarianship in general throughout the state.

The Ohio Health Sciences Library Association Administrator of the Year Award is given in recognition of exemplary support of an Ohio hospital library and its staff during the last year.  This award is given to increase awareness of the value of hospital libraries and to recognize administrators who support librarians and library services.
