OHSLA is sponsoring
the annual conference of the
Midwest
Chapter of the Medical Library
Association
The
Ohio Health Sciences Library Association
invites applications for a scholarship
to the 2009 meeting in Columbus on
October 3-6, 2009. The conference will
be held at the Hyatt on Capitol Square.
One $500 stipend will be awarded to an
individual who meets the criteria
described in the
application form.
New OHSLA Officers Elected

chairperson, for handling the election
and thanks to all who voted and ran for

officers:
Bette Sydelko,
Fordham Health Science Library at Wright
State University, as OHSLA’s new
President-Elect.. She has previously
served as treasurer/membership chair of
OHSLA and in numerous other Midwest
Chapter and MLA capacities.

Maryann Mlodzik, Health Resources
Library at Cuyahoga Falls General
Hospital, as Treasurer/Membership
chairperson. She is currently our GMR
Emergency Preparedness Regional
Coordinator. Congratulations Maryann!
Just a reminder that 2010's election
will include secretary, regional
advisory council representative and
president-elect (hospital librarian to
run). Please think about serving when
the call for nominations comes next
year.
