Summer is here! It's a time for vacations at the beach, the mountains, or somewhere in-between; a relaxed time to step back and reflect on who we are and where we are going.  Well, your OHSLA Executive Board is not vacationing or even relaxing!  Summer for the board means planning for the Fall OHSLA meeting, managing membership renewals, and convening a "transition" meeting where the newly elected board members meet with the current members and begin their new responsibilities. We are busy!

Thanks to everyone who attended the Spring 2010 meeting. From your comments on the evaluation forms, it was very successful. Stevo Roksandic and the staff at Mt Carmel Health Sciences Library deserve colossal thanks for providing OHSLA with an excellent meeting venue. Being able to use both the meeting room and the computer lab was much appreciated. Thank you!

Congratulations to our newly elected officers! Stacy Gall from the Medical Library at Grant Medical Center in Columbus is the incoming President-Elect and Stephanie Schulte from the Prior Health Sciences Library, The Ohio State University is our incoming Secretary. They will assume their roles as of July 1, 2010.  At the same time, we say thank you and good-bye to Fern Cheek, also from the Prior Health Sciences Library, who has served as our Secretary for the past four years.
