OHSLA's
15th Anniversary!
We celebrated the 15th
Anniversary of the Ohio Health Sciences
Library Association at the Midwest
Chapter meeting in Columbus. We took a look
back at previous meetings and reminisced
about people, places and good times.
OHSLA was formed in
1994 when the Ohio Health Information
Organization (O.H.I.O.) and the State
Council for Ohio Health were merged.
Over the years numerous health science
librarians have participated in the
leadership of the association, bringing
the members opportunities for continuing
education and professional development
as well as valuable networking. Let's
give a great round of applause to all of
these leaders for volunteering their
time and expertise to make this a great
organization!
What does the
future hold? Help us look ahead, what
would you like OHSLA to do for you? What
continuing education classes would
provide the most benefit? Is there a
topic you would like to discuss amongst
your peers? Do you know someone who
would be a great guest speaker? Is there
a particular goal you think OHSLA should
be addressing?

Please help make
OHSLA an association that meets the
needs of its members. Send your
suggestions or comments to the
President and Program Chair (one in
the same for this year!) to assist in
future planning. This is your
professional organization, make it work
for you!
